From stage to business
Two lives, one thread. Everything I create today has its roots on the stage.
A story in stations
AT FOUR
The first stage
At four years old I stood on a theater stage for the first time. Movement was never a hobby. It was my first language.
Training
Leipzig, Cologne, Chicago
Classical dance training at the Ballet Academy Leipzig, then the Music Academy Cologne. Years at the barre before anything looked like art. Then Chicago: Jazz Dance with Gus Giordano, one of the founders of the American jazz dance tradition, plus acting training in New York. Two crafts for the same cause, body and voice. Craft before show — that's still my standard today.
1996 - 2013 · 17 YEARS · CENTER OF LIFE
Turkey
Curiosity about another country became seventeen years. Turkey was my home, I worked internationally. A second home, a second language, a second perspective on art. And the experience of how differently culture works, depending on where you stand.
1996 - 2013 · STAGE & TEACHING
Europe & Asia
Engagements and productions as a performing artist, choreographer and director. Whoever has to hold their own in front of a foreign audience, in a language that isn't their own, learns quickly: it's not what you want to show that counts. It's what arrives. In the same years came further training in pedagogy — the moment when skill became passing on. At the time I didn't see a change of direction. In retrospect, it was the first.
1996 - 2013 · BEHIND THE STAGE
Producer and artist manager
From passing on came responsibility. I no longer stood only on stage, but also behind it: accompanying productions, bringing artists into the spotlight, negotiating contracts. That was my first business, long before I called it that.
FROM 2014 - BERLIN
Art & culture management, marketing
Various projects and positions for art institutions. But the more responsibility I took for others, the clearer the question became: Why is some art seen and other art not? So I studied it. Experience became method, gut feeling became a system that can be passed on.
FROM 2016 - REALIGNMENT
From my own stage to a stage for others
Change of direction. I saw too many great artists give up — not from a lack of skill, but from a lack of visibility. So I stopped playing my own stage and started building one for others. Plus certification as a life coach, because every career includes a person.
FROM 2018 - TODAY
Favori Media, Favori Art, Favori Flow & Artpreneure
Founding Favori Media in Berlin, building Favori Art, Favori Flow and Artpreneure. A structure for art and culture in the DACH region, with marketing, management and technology from one hand.
AWARDS
2021 & 2026
2021 - Nomination for the Berlin European Prize "Blauer Bär". 2022 - International Speaker Slam, Excellence Award 2025 - European Enterprise Awards 2025 as best art & culture media agency in Germany. 2026 - German CEO Excellence Awards 2026 for entrepreneurial excellence in the cultural and creative industries.
Four values I orient myself by
Substance before show
Marketing serves the art, not the other way around. What becomes visible has substance.
Structure instead of chance
Visibility isn't luck. It's a question of systems that work repeatably.
International perspective
Three languages, three cultural spaces. What works here may look different elsewhere.
Self-made
I don't pretend anything I haven't walked myself. The stage was my first business.
Three languages, three cultural spaces
The international experience is no footnote. It shapes how I understand art, audience and culture.
What drives me when the stage goes dark
Movement never disappeared for me. It shows up in a different form today — in the rhythm of a project, in the beat of a good text, in the discipline of seeing an idea through.
Berlin is my base. The world remains my field. Anyone who wants to get to know me books a conversation — preferably live.
